"HB will always have a special place in my heart.... There are so many great memories from past to present. I feel lucky to live in OC where a short drive down PCH will give you a gorgeous scenic view of 3-4 beaches. HB has been my #1 to chill on the sand and soak up the sun or to capture the sunset. A walk on the pier has a calming affect when you want to de-stress."

"We try and make it annually, we have friends who live right up from the beach. Each summer we travel down to Kern County for visits with close friends, then just jump on down to the beach via John Wayne airport. LOVE LOVE LOVE this beach, and love the shopping we do at the Pier as well. Visually stunning, so WORTH the drive up and along the coast to take in ALL the sights. We just REALLY enjoy this trip."

"Superb! Love this beach along Pacific Coast Highway. It's pretty clean, not too many weirdos around and although it's loaded with surfers (do to pretty nice waves) there are still plenty of family friendly groups and areas. Everyone seems pretty nice there and I find most people to be respectful of each other's space. Parking is $15 bucks near tower 17 but I like that area. There are plenty of fire pits to use I highly recommend this place."
